Our Story

Born from Roots, Built on Joy

Two continents. One sound. A lifetime of music.

The Natti Love Joys

The Natti Love Joys have been electrifying audiences with their dynamic reggae performances for decades, opening for legendary artists like Joan Jett, Three Dog Night, The Band, The Clash, The Ramones, Psychedelic Furs, Debbie Gibson, Jimmy Cliff, and more.

Known for their energetic stage presence, the band has brought their unique sound to countless venues and festivals across the country — from the Riverbend Festival in Chattanooga, TN alongside Joan Jett and Widespread Panic, to AthFest in Athens, GA, Dollywood Splash Country, and the International Kite Festival in Atlanta.

Their performances blend top 20 hits in reggae style, Bob Marley classics, and original songs from their albums All I Can Say, Universal Mind, Thingz, and Orchestrata — alongside tracks from Sonia Abel-Allen's former group, Love Joys.

Featured as the 'Band of the Day' on Channel 9 News' This & That show in Chattanooga, the Natti Love Joys continue to bring joy to their fans with vibrant, soulful performances rooted in authentic reggae culture.

Sonia Abel-Allen

Lead Vocals & Keyboards

London, England

Originally from London, Sonia Abel-Allen is the heart and voice of the Natti Love Joys. She was the lead vocalist of the iconic lovers rock reggae group Love Joys, whose music has left a lasting mark on reggae history. Her song 'All I Can Say' was featured in the Xbox game Saint's Row, and was later sampled by Big X Tha Plug ft. Yung Hood. DJ Khaled also sampled her song 'Gimme Back' on his Hot Shot track. Sonia's voice carries the warmth of London's reggae scene and the soul of a lifetime on stage.

Tony Allen

Kingston, Jamaica

A Kingston native, Tony Allen brings deep roots reggae authenticity to every performance. He served as bassist for The Congos — one of reggae's most revered vocal groups — and appeared in the reggae film Jamdown by Emmanuel Bonn.
